Taking A Deeper Look at our "Faith Driven" Philosophy
Great Day Everyone!
Today, we want to discuss with you the heart of what it means to be "Faith Driven," a concept that is not only a cornerstone of our ministry but also the inspiration behind our Definition shirt. You won't find this definition in Webster's but you will see it here , etched into the fiber of our being and placed on the front of our t-shirt.
At God Intended, being "Faith Driven" is about navigating life by earnestly seeking and placing unwavering trust in God, His promises, and His Word. This concept transcends mere belief; it is an active, dynamic journey of reliance on divine guidance. Our Definition shirt serves as a tangible reminder of this very thing.
Interestingly, we chose to represent "Faith Driven" as a noun on our shirt, despite its adjectival form. This intentional choice underscores our aim to foster a sense of community. Wearing this shirt is not just about making a personal statement; it's about being part of a collective that shares a profound commitment to faith. We wear this shirt to show others the definition of who we are as a community; Faith Driven is who we are and we wear it proudly.
At the bottom of the T-shirt, you'll find the words "Yeilded and Surrendered," a phrase that encapsulates the essence of being Faith Driven. To yield and surrender to God means to relinquish control, to acknowledge that our understanding is limited, and to trust that God’s plan for us is perfect, even when it's beyond our comprehension. And believe us, we rarely understand what is going on until we go through it and come out of it. It is then that we realize that God has it all under control!
Our guiding verse, Proverbs 3:5-6, powerfully encapsulates the essence of a faith-driven life: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." These words remind us to place our complete trust in God, letting go of our self-reliance and human wisdom.
Our ministry at God Intended is fueled by the principle of prioritizing faith in God over faith in self. In a world that often promotes self-reliance and individualism, we champion the counter-cultural path of divine reliance. This path, though filled with uncertainties, leads to a deeper, more fulfilling connection with God.
We invite you to embrace this journey with us. Whether you are new to faith or have been walking this path for years, there is always more to explore and understand. Let our Definition shirt be a reminder and a symbol of your commitment to living a life that is truly Faith Driven.
